Short

This is a transaction that is carried out in order to earn money to reduce the cost of a cryptocurrency asset. The algorithm of actions is as follows: 1) The trader believes that the price for token x will begin to fall in the near future, so it occupies a certain amount of these tokens on the bail of its own funds and immediately sells tokens X on the exchange 2) then patiently waits until the price for token x falls to a certain mark 3) As soon as this happens, the trader redeems X tokens at a lower price and returns their exchange Profit: The difference between the price of the sale and the purchase price.

Gas

This is a unit of computing work for the implementation of transactions or smart contracts in the Ethereum network. Any action on the Ethereum network requires a certain amount of electricity, computing power and miner time that must be paid. GAS in this case acts as a total indicator - how many resources are required to perform a particular transaction. For example, the execution of a certain transaction requires 21010 GAS, the price of 1 GAS is 6 Gwei or 0.000000006 ETH, then the cost of the transaction will be 126060 GWEI or 0.00012606 ETH.

Cold Storage

Cold storage refers to storing cryptocurrency on a place where the private key cannot be accessed via the internet. This can be done on a hardware wallet, paper wallet or software wallet in an offline environment.

ERC-721

This is a standard for non -replaceable tokens (NFT) in the Ethereum network. Each separate token ERC-721 is unique in its own way and cannot be replaced by another token. This type of tokens is used for collecting, real estate, paintings and art as a whole.

Smart Contract

A smart contract is a computer program or a transaction protocol respectively, which is intended to automatically execute, control or document respectively legally relevant events and actions according to the terms of a contract, of an agreement or of a negotiation.

TIR

The degree of steepness/reliability/profitability of cryptocurrency funds - for example, TIR -1 is the coolest, shooting room -2 - less cool and so on
